Repair Process

Step 1. Obtain the Estimate/ Insurance Approval (if applicable) step 1
Regardless of your intention to file an insurance claim or pay out of pocket, an estimate appointment should be scheduled to determine the scope of repairs. Estimates are by appointment only in order to insure each customer has enough time for our estimating team to write an excellent estimate. The estimate may take 30 – 45 minutes. The estimator will inspect the vehicle, document the damage and enter the information into a computerized estimating system which will determine the cost of repairs. The estimate will be delivered in person, email or by fax. If covered by insurance, we will communicate with the insurance company regarding the damages and they will review the estimate. The insurance company will determine if the vehicle is repairable. The repairs are then scheduled and parts are ordered.

Step 2. Check In/Disassembly step 2-1
Upon drop off, the vehicle is checked in, washed and pre-inspected. It is then assigned to a technician to disassemble. In disassembly, inner structure repairs are determined. Since we cannot determine inner structure damage at the time of the original estimate, hidden damage may be found. This additional damage, if present, is added to the estimate and documented with photographs and notes. In this situation, the customer and insurance company will be notified, often initiating an insurance re-inspection and possibly requiring additional parts which will potentially modify the original target delivery date.

Step 3. Body/Structure Repairs step 3

Frame, mechanical, and body repair are completed, to factory specification. If frame damage has occurred, a computerized measuring system is utilized to analyze the frame damage and restore the frame to manufacturer specifications.

Step 4. Refinish/Reassembly step 4

The vehicle is sent for paint preparation. All panels are prepared for paint, then primed and sealed to assure corrosion protection and proper adhesion when the final color and clear coats of paint are applied. Moldings, trim and detail pieces are then placed back on the vehicle. All impacted vehicle systems are checked during this process.

Step 5. Detail/Quality Control step 5

The interior and exterior will be cleaned. Newly painted surfaces are evaluated for imperfections and polished. A test drive may occur in order to ensure everything is working properly. A final quality control inspection will take place to assure the vehicle is restored to pre-accident condition.

Step 6. Delivery step 6

The final paperwork is prepared while the vehicle is detailed. The paperwork details are reviewed and a manger reviews the repairs with the owner. The customer receives our lifetime guarantee, guaranteeing our paint and workmanship for the lifetime of the vehicle. Our guarantee is transferable to a new owner if the vehicle is sold.
